Snowflake makes Semantic Studio generally available in Workspaces

Snowflake makes Semantic Studio generally available in Workspaces Image: Primary
Snowflake has made Semantic Studio generally available, moving the editing of shared metric definitions into Workspaces alongside SQL, notebooks and dbt projects. The tool integrates Snowflake CoCo, git versioning and workflows for reviewing and deploying changes. Builders can give CoCo a monitoring request ID to investigate an agent's answer using its configuration, executed query and logs. Proposed fixes appear as changes that users accept or reject in a visual editor or YAML. Teams can evaluate edited definitions before shipping them through pull requests and automated checks. Deployment requires confirmation, supports separate development, staging and production targets, and preserves rollback history. Changes affect every agent and dashboard reading the shared metrics.
