Cursor launched Origin, a code-hosting platform that TechCrunch reported is designed for collaborative work on codebases, repository storage, browsing and editing, and pull requests. The platform can operate alongside GitHub: users can connect a GitHub organization, select repositories to sync, and move code between the services. Cursor said agent-native features and a broader app ecosystem are planned, but did not provide details. The launch coincided with a reported GitHub outage and developer frustration over service reliability.
