New Jersey AI data-center project faces generator permit allegations

Thermal drone footage reportedly showed at least 45 of 62 generators running. A New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection spokesperson said the agency had issued no generator permits and had no applications under review, while adding that a full compliance determination remains pending. DataOne said it remains committed to applicable environmental and permitting requirements.
