Figure says its Index platform has collected 16 million robot-training videos

Figure AI said it has launched Index, a crowdsourced platform for collecting robot-training data, after operating it in stealth for four months. The company said the platform has received 16 million video uploads from contributors in 108 countries, reached 264,000 app downloads and paid contributors $15 million. Figure said it is using the material to expand training data for general-purpose robots, alongside teleoperation, robot-performance logs and internet-scale video.
