Upscale AI announced Token Fabric, a networking platform it says connects AI chips and network cards from different suppliers using open standards. The Nvidia-backed startup combines its SkyFabriX switch chip for connections within racks with switches built on Nvidia's Spectrum-X Ethernet chips for connections between racks.

Software runs and monitors the network, identifying bottlenecks and hardware that may need replacement. Early-access programs are under way, with general availability planned for early 2027. Reuters reported that the first component is due in the fourth quarter and remaining components will arrive in stages through 2027.
