# BYD's Fang Cheng Bao launches Formula S electric sedan in China

BYD sub-brand Fang Cheng Bao launched the Formula S electric sedan in China in nine variants priced from CN¥189,900 to CN¥239,900. The range includes 76.744-kWh and 92.093-kWh lithium iron phosphate batteries, with a stated maximum CLTC driving range of 900 kilometers.

BYD claims its Flash Charging system can take the battery from 10% to 90% in roughly nine minutes. The car is currently limited to China, and both the charging performance and driving ranges are manufacturer claims under stated test conditions.
