Waymo announced a San Francisco Bay Area program that will issue $2.85 in Waymo Cash when a rider pays for a Waymo trip and public transit with the same linked Visa card within two hours. Employee access starts first, followed by a gradual public rollout in the coming weeks across 27 participating transit agencies.

Waymo also agreed to lease 40 dedicated parking spaces at Caltrain stations for staged vehicles. The reward is limited to eligible linked-card trips, and the company has not announced dates for expansion beyond the Bay Area.
