Accelerated systems take 69.1% of second-quarter server revenue

GPU-system revenue reached $87.4 billion even as unit shipments fell 10.7% to 513,453, reflecting a shift toward costlier rack-scale systems. IDC reported an average GPU-system selling price of $170,220, up 43.5%. Some combined shipment and revenue figures are the publication's estimates rather than figures directly reported by IDC.
