GPU- and XPU-accelerated machines generated an estimated $137.35 billion in the second quarter of 2026, equal to 69.1% of server revenue while representing 16.1% of units, The Next Platform calculated from IDC data. IDC put overall quarterly server sales at $166.32 billion, up 52% from a year earlier and 35.6% sequentially.

GPU-system revenue reached $87.4 billion even as unit shipments fell 10.7% to 513,453, reflecting a shift toward costlier rack-scale systems.
