Agility Robotics named Nyobolt as the battery technology provider for its Digit 5 humanoid robot on October 15, saying the system will enable more than 20 hours of work in a 24-hour day. The announcement identifies the supplier behind a battery upgrade for warehouse, distribution and manufacturing customers.

Agility says the system provides 90 minutes of runtime and charges in 9 minutes, raising the run-to-charge ratio to 10:1 from Digit 4's 2:1. Early access to robots equipped with the technology is expected in the first half of 2027, with availability increasing over the following six to nine months. General availability is expected by the end of 2027.
