Agilink, a spin-off of AgiBot, demonstrated a robot hand splitting silk strands, threading a needle, stretching fabric and stitching after training with Suzhou embroidery master Fu Xianghong. The demonstration shows coordinated manipulation of delicate material, including holding tension while separating a thread into individual strands.

The hand uses vision-based fingertip sensors that observe changes in the contact surface. Agilink says those sensors measure force in three dimensions and detect deformations of 0.08 mm. The company has not identified the exact hand model shown in the video.
