Australia's Fair Work Commission ordered a former ALDI worker to pay A$1,230 toward the employer's legal fees after finding that AI-informed submissions pursued a case with no substantial prospects of success. The commission has also announced that, from October 20, applicants must disclose AI use, verify facts, authorities and hyperlinks, and confirm witness evidence. It has introduced a template for litigants relying on AI. The commission said AI can still assist applicants with genuine claims when used critically.
