The Electronic Frontier Foundation has released its free Privacy Badger extension for Safari on macOS, expanding the tracker blocker to all major desktop browsers. Users need Safari version 26.5 or higher to install it.

EFF says the extension blocks hidden trackers from loading, adding protection beyond Safari's default browsing mode, which limits the information trackers can access but still lets them load. Privacy Badger automatically learns to block hidden trackers and already has more than 4 million users.
