# AMD releases provisional prices for EPYC 9006 server chips

AMD has released a price list for its EPYC 9006 server processors, ranging from $700 for an eight-core model to $14,904 for the 256-core EPYC 9996, according to a list obtained by StorageReview and reported by Tom's Hardware. The series was unveiled in July; the new information is its pricing.

The SP7 platform supports up to 16 memory channels and is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of this year. The SP8 platform has eight memory channels and is scheduled for the first half of 2027. AMD says the listed prices may change.
