Supabase says CLI v2.119.0 can run separate local projects for coding agents in different git worktrees and can run without Docker. Both capabilities require an experimental flag. Each worktree receives its own database and services, allowing one agent to reset or migrate its database without disrupting another's tests.

The native runtime runs all 13 Supabase services as ordinary processes on supported Linux and Apple silicon macOS systems. Services other than Postgres start on demand and stop when idle; Supabase says nine idle projects fit in the memory one previously required. Docker remains the default when available and provides separate networks and file systems for multiple local projects.
