FTC sends more than $100,000 to GOAT customers under settlement

The Federal Trade Commission is sending more than $100,000 to 6,205 GOAT customers who have not yet received payments under a settlement over shipping and refund allegations. GOAT directly refunded more than $736,000 to affected customers in 2025. The FTC alleged that the online marketplace missed promised priority shipping times without offering required delay or cancellation options. It also alleged that GOAT failed to honor promised refunds for products found to be inauthentic, incorrect or otherwise not as described. Most recipients will receive checks, which must be cashed within 90 days. PayPal recipients must redeem their payments within 30 days.
