Aggreko files preliminary registration statement for NYSE IPO

Aggreko Inc. filed a Form F-1 registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of ordinary shares. The filing says Aggreko has applied to list the shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol AGKO. The number of shares and proposed price range remain blank in the preliminary prospectus. The company describes its business as providing engineered energy and temperature solutions in more than 80 countries. The registration statement is not yet effective.
