Meta has built a working humanoid robot prototype with Chinese robotics company Fourier and is developing a second version, The Information reported, citing people familiar with the project. The first prototype reportedly took about three months to build.

Meta said it has no plans to sell the units. Its robotics effort focuses on AI models, sensors and software that other robot makers could use. Reuters could not immediately verify the report, and neither company has published specifications or images of the machine.
