Ahold Delhaize confirmed that it took some systems offline to protect them while assessing and mitigating a network security incident. The retailer said its stores remain open, but BleepingComputer reported disruptions affecting employees and customer services in the United States and Europe. Stop & Shop employees have had trouble accessing schedules and pay stubs. Customers have been unable to use websites, apps and customer service platforms at Albert Heijn, Etos and Gall & Gall in the Netherlands, and Delhaize in Belgium. An internal memo shared by Food Lion employees warned that stores might be unable to shop, stage or hand off orders.
