# Intel seeks FCC exception to foreign robotics ban

Intel asked the Federal Communications Commission for an exception to a recent ban on foreign-made advanced robotics, Bloomberg reported. The chipmaker told the agency it needs continued access to specialized equipment that it considers critical to US semiconductor manufacturing.
