# CXMT starts mass production on new platform for phone memory chips

Chinese memory-chip maker CXMT said its fifth-generation manufacturing platform has entered mass production, Reuters reported. Alongside the production announcement, the company unveiled two new phone-memory products built on the platform, both using 24-gigabit LPDDR5X technology.
