Stability AI reports $76 million Series B led by entertainment backers

Stability AI has raised a reported $76 million Series B, bringing its total funding to $232 million, according to the source. The round included Universal Music Group, Sony Music Group, Warner Music Group, Electronic Arts, AMD Ventures and Pacific Alliance Ventures. Stability said it plans to use the capital to expand products for music, video and image generation and to grow its professional-services division. The company has previously described entertainment partnerships as joint development of its tools rather than simple licensing arrangements.
