# Optical-interconnect startup Quintessent raises $40 million

Quintessent, which makes optical interconnects for data centers, announced a $40 million Series A led by Cycle Capital. The startup said the funding will be used to ramp production of its hardware. The round follows an $11.4 million seed round in 2024.
