Echo launches service aimed at patching AI-discovered flaws before disclosure

Echo launches service aimed at patching AI-discovered flaws before disclosure Image: Primary
Echo launched Echo Frontier, an enterprise offering designed to turn previously unknown vulnerabilities discovered by AI into tested patches before public disclosure. The company positions the service as a way to act before a vulnerability receives a public identifier, scanner detection or an upstream fix. The launch addresses the gap between finding flaws and repairing software safely. Research by 1Password's Off-by-1 Labs cited in the announcement found that 54% of 6,080 AI-generated patches failed to fix the vulnerability, introduced a new one, or both.
