Saudi Aramco acquired a 49% stake in HUMAIN in exchange for AI assets and $2.6 billion, Yahoo Finance reported. The Public Investment Fund owns the remainder of the Saudi government's AI company.

The cash injection supports HUMAIN's investment plans as PIF scales back ambitions and seeks funding from other investors. Details of the transferred assets have not been disclosed. Aramco will retain control of its venture arm, which has a Silicon Valley office and invests in technology.
