Amazon is in advanced discussions to acquire AI startup Decart for approximately $7 billion, Reuters reported. The Israeli-founded company develops software to improve the efficiency of AI systems across different computer processors and optimize computing resources used to train advanced models. Decart also develops tools for processing and editing live video and creating simulated environments for robotics and autonomous vehicle development. It completed a $300 million funding round involving Nvidia in May. Amazon has not confirmed the potential acquisition, and the negotiations could end without an agreement.
