Alibaba has begun selling Qwen N1 smart glasses in China, with prices starting at 2,999 yuan ($450) before discounts, Bloomberg reported. The glasses are available through Taobao, Tmall, JD.com and Douyin, following pre-orders that opened on September 22.

The N1 combines a 50-megapixel camera with Alibaba's Qwen assistant for translation, meeting notes, shopping, payments and voice tasks. The 3,499-yuan N1 Pro adds eye tracking so wearers can ask about objects they look at, plus iris scans to confirm payments. Starting-price reports differ: several Chinese outlets quoted 2,899 yuan.
