Bedrock deploys operator-free excavators on Texas and Nevada projects
Image: Primary Bedrock Robotics said it has deployed fully autonomous retrofitted excavators on active infrastructure projects in Texas and Nevada, including a Nevada water-treatment facility and Texas earthwork sites. The company said the machines are performing early earthwork, clearing, cut-and-fill and foundation-preparation tasks after a site manager sets an initial plan. Bedrock said the equipment operates without an in-seat operator but includes a person in the loop to manage issues when a machine gets stuck.
