doxx.net raises $38 million and opens private networking platform to public beta

doxx.net raises $38 million and opens private networking platform to public beta Image: Primary
Miami startup doxx.net has raised $38 million in Series A funding and opened its private networking platform to public beta, Hoodline reported. Andreessen Horowitz led the round, joined by ANIMO Ventures and Focal.vc. The platform gives users and AI agents encrypted networks for browsing, communication and file transfers. It uses its own IP space and DNS root, while support for Model Context Protocol lets agents configure infrastructure through its API. Devices communicate directly without a central communications server. Native apps are available for iOS, macOS and Android, with Windows and Linux support. The platform remains in beta; whether its architecture can scale to replace centralized networks remains unresolved.
