Google is expanding access to its experimental Geospatial Reasoning agent through Ask Google Earth and an Agent-to-Agent service for a limited group of early users. The system connects Gemini with specialized models and spatial tools to perform multi-step analysis of maps, satellite observations and other planetary data.

Users can now supply spreadsheets, custom map boundaries or cloud tables through the agent API and combine private locations with Google's global models. The agent develops an analytical plan before processing large map layers and shows its plan and data sources for expert review. Google treats its output as a first draft: one benchmark evaluates conformity to expert workflows rather than the correctness of final answers.
