TrendAI Agentic Governance Gateway introduced

TrendAI introduced the TrendAI Agentic Governance Gateway. The security solution gives organizations visibility and control over autonomous agent interactions across data, tools, and environments. The gateway addresses the emerging security gap from agentic AI systems such as OpenClaw. Rachel Jin, CPBO and Head of TrendAI, said tools like OpenClaw show how powerful and accessible this model has become. Organizations deploy these systems without centralized oversight, and the gateway enables visibility, control, and confidence. Eva Chen, CEO of Trend Micro, said security must evolve from protection to governance as AI systems become more autonomous. Traditional cybersecurity protects endpoints, networks, and applications. In contrast, agentic AI systems operate across dynamic chains of interaction where agents, models, APIs, and data continuously exchange information and trigger actions. The gateway was demonstrated at NVIDIA GTC. There, a new attack surface was highlighted from autonomous agentic frameworks capable of planning, executing, and coordinating actions at machine speed. Forrester stated that AI agents proliferate across workflows but security programs built for human-centric architectures fail in agentic environments. These agents create unpredictable attack paths with risks including intent hijacking and cascading hallucinations. TrendAI Agentic Governance Gateway is delivered through the TrendAI Vision One platform. It builds on AI-driven analytics for detecting anomalous behavior and a unified approach correlating context across endpoints, cloud, applications, and AI systems. TrendAI is the enterprise business unit of Trend Micro Incorporated.
