Anthropic Academy launched on March 2, 2026 as the official learning platform from the company that develops Claude AI. The platform is hosted on Skilljar and offers 13 free courses developed by the engineers who build Claude. Access requires only an email address.

The courses fall into foundation, developer, educator, specialty, and deployment categories. Foundation courses include Claude 101 and AI Fluency frameworks and foundations. Developer courses cover introduction to agent skills, building with the Claude API, Claude Code in action, intro to MCP, and MCP advanced topics.

Educator courses address AI fluency for students, AI fluency for educators, and teaching AI fluency. A specialty course covers AI fluency for nonprofits. Deployment courses include Claude with Amazon Bedrock and Claude with Google Cloud Vertex AI.

Most courses require between one and four hours to complete. The building with the Claude API course takes more than eight hours. All courses are self-paced and issue certificates upon completion.

The courses are free with no hidden fees. They are available only in English. Developer courses require prior experience with Python or command line interfaces. No live sessions or community forums are provided.
