# Vertiv and Generate Capital Collaborate to Accelerate Data Center Capacity

Vertiv and Generate Capital announced a strategic collaboration to deliver Bring Your Own Power and Cooling solutions for data centers across the United States. The partnership combines Vertiv's power train, thermal chain and services capabilities with Generate's infrastructure financing, asset ownership and operational expertise.

The collaboration is designed to help data center operators accelerate capacity deployment in power constrained markets. It aligns technology, delivery and financing into a single model to reduce time to operation while preserving long term optionality for utility interconnection.

Initial deployments will target North American markets with constrained grid access. Configurations may include reciprocating engines, turbines, fuel cells, pre engineered integrated cooling, battery energy storage and alternative energy systems.

Scott Armul, chief product and technology officer at Vertiv, said the collaboration expands the company's strategy by integrating infrastructure with financing and ownership models to achieve faster time to operation. David Crane, chief executive of Generate, said the model pairs proven power and cooling infrastructure with flexible financing and operations to help customers deploy faster and manage capital efficiently.

The announcement expands Vertiv's existing Bring Your Own Power and Cooling ecosystem, which includes prior collaborations with Caterpillar and Solar Turbines.
