Tinder held its inaugural product keynote on March 12 in Los Angeles. The event, called Tinder Sparks 2026: Start Something New, presented updates to the dating app in product, safety and artificial intelligence areas. The announcements are designed to create more opportunities for users to form real connections.
New global modes include a redesigned Music Mode that prioritizes profiles with shared music tastes and a new Astrology Mode that incorporates zodiac compatibility. Tinder also launched pilots for an Events feature in Los Angeles to discover local activities and for video speed dating events. These features allow users to connect both online and offline.

Tinder is expanding its Chemistry artificial intelligence recommendations to the United States and Canada.
