The SpaceX Crew-12 mission reached the International Space Station when its Dragon spacecraft docked with the orbiting complex at 3:15 p.m. EST. This event marked the beginning of a long-duration mission for the crew. The crew members are NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev.

Following the docking, the Dragon spacecraft linked up to the space-facing port of the station's Harmony module. The crew aboard the Dragon and the station crew began standard leak checks and started pressurization between the spacecraft and the station. These steps prepared the teams for the hatch opening, which was scheduled for about 5 p.m.

NASA broadcast the docking and related activities live. The coverage was available on NASA+, Amazon Prime, and the agency's YouTube channel.
