Adobe announced updates to Premiere and After Effects that add artificial intelligence tools for video editing and new capabilities for motion design work. In Premiere the AI-powered Object Mask lets editors generate precise masks of complex moving subjects Media generated in Firefly Boards can be sent directly into a Premiere project with one click. A new Frame.io V4 panel is available in beta inside Premiere to handle comments media and versioning without leaving the edit. Adobe Stock integration now lets users browse preview license and import from more than 52 million clips including 92,000 free ones. After Effects adds support for importing SVG files as native shape layers that preserve editable gradients and transparency. Users can create native 3D parametric meshes including cubes spheres cylinders cones tori and planes and apply spot or parallel shadows. More than 1,300 free Substance 3D materials can be applied to native meshes and imported models.
