Opening remarks are scheduled from Daniel Castro, vice president and director of the Center for Data Innovation at ITIF, Kriti Singh, associate director of The Dialogue, and Cris Turner, vice president for government affairs and public policy for knowledge and information products at Google. Keynote addresses will come from Dr. Ajay Kumar, minister of commerce at the Embassy of India, and Bethany Poulous Morrison, deputy assistant secretary in the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.
Three panels will examine scaling AI adoption through skills, deployment, and trust, compute equity and interoperable safeguards to bridge the global divide, and development of a shared roadmap for AI policy and innovation. Speakers include representatives from the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Center for Global Development, OpenAI, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Mahindra Group, the U.S. India Strategic Partnership Forum, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. The Washington convening will feed directly into the New Delhi summit agenda.
