AWS says ChatGPT desktop app is available through Bedrock in GovCloud

AWS says ChatGPT desktop app is available through Bedrock in GovCloud Image: Primary
AWS says the ChatGPT desktop app is now available through Amazon Bedrock in AWS GovCloud (US), giving organizations access to OpenAI models for multistep tasks and software development. Its deployment guide routes Codex model requests through the Bedrock Mantle endpoint in us-gov-west-1, using AWS identities and regional network controls. Customers pay per token without seat licenses or per-developer commitments. An optional zero data retention mode processes prompts and responses without AWS writing them to durable storage or sharing them with model providers. ChatGPT workspace roles do not govern this configuration; device policies and AWS permissions do. Organizations must still review deployments through their own security authorization processes.
