Booking Holdings launches Lola with free AI hotel and restaurant bookings

Booking Holdings launches Lola with free AI hotel and restaurant bookings Image: Primary
Booking Holdings' Lola debuted September 29 with a free AI travel service that can currently book hotels and restaurants, Subscription Insider reported. The service comes from KAYAK co-founders Steve Hafner and Paul English and draws on Booking Holdings businesses and outside partners. Paid Plus and VIP memberships are advertised at $5 and $25 a month, respectively, but enrollment is not yet open. Both require a 12-month commitment. Under Lola's terms, canceling during the first year does not end the remaining payment obligation, and losing a particular membership benefit does not entitle subscribers to a refund.
