Oracle Announces Select AI Pre-Built AI Agents

Oracle announced Select AI pre-built AI agents. The agents are implemented using the Oracle Select AI Agent framework. Organizations can install, use and customize the agentic capabilities, which run securely on Oracle AI Database, including Oracle Autonomous AI Database. The agents support building, deploying and managing AI agents directly within the database. They utilize both custom and pre-built tools for multi-turn conversations. Direct use is enabled through the Autonomous AI Database MCP Server. Chatbot-style dialogs maintain context for follow-up queries. Users can manage multiple conversations with optionally generated titles and descriptions. Controls are available for conversation retention periods and maximum lengths. Access occurs through SQL, PL/SQL and Python interfaces. The agents work with all versions of Oracle Autonomous AI Database and Oracle AI Database 26ai and 19c, including multi-cloud deployments on AWS, Azure and GCP.
