Airia announced enterprise security capabilities for OpenClaw on March 20, 2026. The enterprise AI management platform company, based in Atlanta, introduced the features to address safety concerns with the AI agent technology formerly known as Clawdbot and Moltbot.

A well-known healthcare organization deployed OpenClaw through Airia's AI Gateway. The deployment provides secure, monitored access while maintaining HIPAA compliance and data protection standards.

Kevin Kiley, CEO of Airia, said OpenClaw represents a breakthrough in AI agent capabilities but carries significant security risks that make it unsuitable for enterprise use without proper guardrails. He added that the AI Gateway makes OpenClaw trusted and safe by providing observability, data loss prevention, and agent constraints.

Airia's solution includes data loss prevention for real-time auditing of health information, personally identifiable information, and sensitive data. It also provides complete observability into interactions, costs, and usage patterns, along with agent constraints and a routing engine for protections against failures.

The platform enables IT teams to configure OpenClaw for employees while maintaining centralized control, monitoring, and security enforcement.
