QCi Quantum Optimization Machine placed on Quantum Corridor network
HAMMOND, Ind. and HOBOKEN, N.J. Quantum Corridor and Quantum Computing Inc. announced the placement of a Dirac-3 quantum optimization machine on the Quantum Corridor network. The machine was deployed at the Digital Crossroad Data Center in Hammond, Ind.
This marks the first data center installation of a Dirac-3 machine and the first such installation in a commercial data center environment. The partnership allows enhanced customer access with secure, on-demand access to the Dirac-3 over the network.
The connection is secured with Toshiba Quantum Key Distribution over the 10G commercial fiber infrastructure. Dr. Yuping Huang, CEO of QCi, said the collaboration delivers the first data center installation and enhances secure and scalable access to quantum computing capabilities. It expands practical access for academic and enterprise users in the region.
Dr. Mit Jha, CEO of Quantum Corridor, said the network now provides customers with access to computing solutions that can solve previously intractable optimization problems. The Dirac-3 supports applications such as fraud detection across millions of transactions, optimization of complex portfolios, planning of mission critical operations and management of UAS risk at scale.
