Grammarly AI Agents Now Available to the Chapman Community

Chapman University Information Systems and Technology announced that Grammarly AI Agents are now available to all students, faculty, and staff. The access provides context-aware writing support for academic, professional, and creative work. The agents work alongside users to offer guidance that strengthens ideas while preserving individual voice. They extend beyond grammar and spell checking to help improve clarity and structure, adapt tone for different audiences, anticipate reader responses, and support originality with citation and plagiarism tools. Grammarly Authorship is included to promote transparency in academic and professional writing. It tracks how a document was created, including where AI assistance was used, and provides tools to acknowledge that use. Students can use the agents to build writing skills while practicing responsible AI disclosure. Faculty gain visibility into how student writing develops to support expectations for ethical use. Staff can apply the tools to streamline communications that remain professional and inclusive. The agents integrate with many existing tools and platforms.
