Apple announced the iPhone 17e on March 2. The new model features the latest generation A19 chip for performance and the C1X cellular modem. The C1X modem is up to twice as fast as the one in the iPhone 16e. The phone includes a 48 megapixel Fusion camera that supports next generation portraits and 4K Dol It enables an optical quality 2 times telephoto. The 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR display features Ceramic Shield 2 for three times better scratch resistance and reduced glare. iPhone 17e starts at 256 giga The phone is available in black, white, and soft pink with a matte finish. It supports MagSafe wireless charging up to 15 watts and satellite features for emergency services, roadside assistance, messages, and Find My outside of cellular coverage. Kaiann Drance, vice president of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing at Apple, said the product delivers powerful performance and features at an exceptional value. The smartphone uses aerospace grade aluminum and holds an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It comes with iOS 26 and supports fast wired charging to 50 percent in around 30 minutes.
