Omni announced Bring Your Own Model for its Omni product. The feature permits organizations to substitute the default AI service with models from their preferred providers. This option supports teams that require distinct controls to keep all data processing within their own BAA-covered accounts or that maintain committed spend agreements with specific vendors.

For the majority of users, the existing setup remains in place. They can continue accessing Anthropic models such as Opus and Sonnet 4.6 through AWS Bedrock with no configuration changes. Omni continues to manage the associated contracts, billing, and security.

Configuration of a custom provider begins with a request to Omni support. Users then access the relevant controls through the Settings menu under the AI section.

Documentation covers supported models and setup details. A video shows how to connect an OpenAI account. Omni stated its goal is to give users a data model that makes AI accurate, trustworthy, and safe.
