Motorola Solutions Acquires Exacom, a Leading Provider of Cloud-Native Recording and Logging Solutions for Mission-Critical 911 and Radio Communications
Motorola Solutions announced on March 12, 2026, that it acquired Exacom, a provider of cloud-native voice and multimedia recording and logging solutions for mission-critical communications. The company is based in Manchester, New Hampshire. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Exacom solutions help public safety agencies consolidate call logs and record 911 audio and radio traffic directly into cloud-based or on-premise storage systems. This creates a single narrative of the entire incident. The logging recorders are integrated with over 85 radio, 911 call handling, CAD, and enterprise voice systems.
The acquisition will integrate Exacom with Motorola Solutions Assist Suites to provide immediate insights during live incidents. It will also preserve evidentiary records for compliance, quality assurance, and investigations. Exacom brings the cybersecurity expertise of its subsidiary SecuLore, which provides proactive network monitoring and threat detection for mission-critical public safety networks.
Mahesh Saptharishi, executive vice president and chief technology officer of Motorola Solutions, said integrating Exacom into the Digital Evidence Management System will help eliminate information silos. This creates a centralized data layer ready to be transformed into actionable intelligence with Assist, the mission-critical artificial intelligence offering.
Al Brisard, president and chief executive officer of Exacom, said the move represents an affirmation of the solution path, the team, and the execution that earned the trust of public safety agencies. Integrating the cloud-native recording solution with the Motorola Solutions command center suite will provide visibility, performance, and response capabilities for incidents.
Exacom supports customers across public safety, energy, utilities, transportation, and security.
