Scribe Therapeutics Achieves Second Success Milestone for In Vivo CRISPR Program with Eli Lilly
Scribe Therapeutics announced it achieved a second success milestone under its collaboration with Eli Lilly and Company. The milestone applies to one of the targets in the companies' program to develop in vivo CRISPR-based therapeutics for neurological and neuromuscular diseases.
The achievement is the second such event in the partnership. It follows an initial milestone and a joint scientific presentation at ASGCT in 2025. The collaboration was announced in 2023.
Scribe said the milestone validates its technologies and strengthens momentum across its genetic medicine portfolio. Under the agreement, Scribe is eligible to receive more than 1.5 billion dollars across all programs in milestone payments for research, development, regulatory, and commercial achievements, as well as low-double-digit royalties.
Benjamin Oakes, co-founder and chief executive officer of Scribe, said the milestone reflects strong execution and continued validation of the company's in vivo CRISPR technologies
Svetlana Lucas, chief business officer at Scribe, said the achievement further advances a productive collaboration with Lilly.
