Reddit says it has begun testing advertisements on search results pages with a select group of eligible advertisers. The placements use existing ad targeting and may take contextual relevance to a user's query into account.

The company will evaluate users' responses during the initial test to refine the experience for users and advertisers. Participation is limited to the selected eligible advertisers.
