IBM and OpenAI announce enterprise AI deployment partnership
Image: Primary IBM announced a strategic partnership with OpenAI to embed OpenAI frontier models and products including Codex and ChatGPT Work in IBM Consulting Advantage.
IBM said the companies will pursue joint go-to-market work and industry-specific offerings for financial services, government, telecommunications and retail, alongside finance, procurement, customer operations and HR workflows. IBM also said it will create a dedicated OpenAI Practice and deploy specialized engineers and consultants trained through the OpenAI Partner Network.
The companies plan to expand cybersecurity collaboration through IBM Autonomous Security and OpenAI Daybreak-related programs.
