Ransomware group claims breach of MoneyGram

Ransomware group claims breach of MoneyGram Image: Primary
Ransomware group The Gentlemen claims to have breached MoneyGram, a financial services organization with approximately 60 million active customers, Security Magazine reported. MoneyGram has not confirmed an incident, and the group has published no samples of allegedly stolen data. Comparitech research head Rebecca Moody said the group's track record gives reason to take the claim seriously. She warned customers and employees to watch for phishing messages and unauthorized account activity, citing a separate case in which the group pursued a victim's clients after receiving a ransom to delete stolen data.
